Sarah Sayce, Professor in Sustainable Real Estate at the Royal Agricultural University and Emeritus Professor at Kingston University.
Sarah also teaches at other universities and is Joint Executive officer to CHOBE (Council of Heads of the Built Environment). Initially qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor she gained experience of both the corporate field and consultancy before becoming an academic.
She is currently an advisor to both the Ethical Property Company and the Property Working Group of the United Nations Environment Programme’s Finance Initiative and is very active within the RICS, being an elected member of their Governing Council, in addition to serving on several committees. She also sits on the RICS Global and UK Valuation Professional Group Boards.
Sarah is an active, widely published researcher and public speaker across many aspects of the sustainability in the built environment/ sustainable communities. She is co-author of Developing Property Sustainably, published July 2015 and she is now working on a commissioned book on sustainable retrofits.
